Attend one of PSD’s annual User Group Conferences.

Learn about new software features and enhancements, participate in hands-on working sessions with other software users, and network with peers from across the country.

Why Attend PSD’s User Group Conference?

Our User Group Conference format allows for hours of hands-on learning opportunities, including:

  • Working sessions where users can ask direct questions of PSD staff, while utilizing their own software database.
  • Conference streams that allow attendees to choose which sessions are of most interest/relevance.
  • Book a one-on-one session with a PSD expert to discuss CityWide modules, asset management consulting or for grant funding assistance.

Network and learn with PSD software users that have achieved their strategic goals through implementing asset management & budgeting solutions. Share your feedback and ideas with PSD’s software development team and help enhance our solutions.

Most PSD clients bring multiple staff from across departments to our User Group in order to ensure that their organization is getting the most out of our solutions. Bringing a new user? This year, we’ll be offering PSD’s Asset Manager New User Training on-site!
Attendees that sit in on the Capital Planning & Analysis working sessions will receive a certificate acknowledging training hours toward their CPA certification.

Finance staff will not only benefit from learning about enhanced TCA and capital planning software features at User Group, but they will have the opportunity to better understand the advanced asset management functions of our solutions. Finance teams can also sit in on presentations and working sessions for our CityWide Budgeting modules (formerly FMW) – a unique opportunity to see what can be achieved when asset management and budgeting activities are coordinated.

From PSD’s work order management system – Maintenance Manager – to our newly launched Enterprise GIS system (EGIS), public works, engineering and GIS staff will learn how to enhance decision-making and gain new efficiencies using our solutions. Working sessions related to GIS, work order management and the utilization of mobile applications will ensure public works and GIS staff leave the User Group with new strategies to employ in the field and office.

When it comes to building asset management and budgeting maturity in your organization, new funding requirements and regulations are adding complexity and urgency to the task. Departmental managers and CAOs that attend the User Group will gain a much better understanding of how their finance, public works and GIS staff can leverage software to achieve greater results in asset management and budgeting – preparing your organization for regulatory compliance and better funding opportunities.

Who Should Attend PSD’s User Group Conference?

Every year I look forward to networking with PSD staff and fellow municipal employees at User Group. Getting to work through the software in-person with knowledgeable staff is a valuable opportunity and the location of the conference can’t be beat.

Michael McGovern, Treasurer, Township of Central Frontenac
I have attended the PSD User Group every year since 2011 and it continues to be a great way to connect with PSD staff, develop contacts at other municipalities and participate in hands-on learning. It’s very beneficial to sit in front a laptop and follow along when others are asking questions about the software or sit back and watch what the development team is working on – that just isn’t something offered by most companies. PSD User Group is by far my favourite conference each year!
Mary Lou Spicer, Deputy Treasurer, Grey County
